Popcorn is such a great snack for any occasion. It’s easy to make, can be made ahead of time, and is a blank canvas for any flavor. Our favorite ways to spice it are, of course, our Hungry Fan Barbecue, Pumpkin Spice, Buffalo Wings, and Pizza seasonings.
The technique is simple and the flavor options are endless. Try this recipe with other go-to flavors like ranch, Old Bay Seasoning, or a spice mix of your own creation!
Ingredients
1 cup popcorn kernels
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, to taste
2 tablespoons dry spice powder
Ranch
Old Bay Seasoning
Suggested Spices:
Directions
Pop your popcorn in an air popper. If you don’t have one, no fear! Just use Skinny Pop or something comparable, like microwave popcorn, and prepare according to the packaging.
Toss your popcorn with a little oil* and then your spice mix of choice. Seriously...that’s the whole recipe! Now kick back and watch it get devoured.
Recipe Note
Pro Tip:
An olive oil spritzer allows you to use an oil of your choice and control how much oil you put on the popcorn. Great food can still be light too!
