Blueberry Vodka

Think infused booze is something found only at your neighborhood liquor store? Think again! Infusing alcohol with fruit is actually something very easily done at home.

And when entertaining friends chez vous for March Madness, you’ll look like such a stud when you serve you own infused drinks. “Oh yeah…have a taste of my own blueberry vodka. Yes, you heard right. I made it myself.”

Directions:

How to infuse:

  1. Place ½ cup blueberries in an 16 oz ball jar.
  2. Fill jar with vodka (brand does not matter – if there is one you like!).
  3. Seal lid and store in a cool place (does not need to be refrigerated).
  4. 24 hours later your alcohol will be infused.

To Drink:

  1. Combine vodka, ice and lemon juice in a shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously.
  3. Pour into a martini glass and drop in 4 of 5 blueberries from your infused jar.
